**Job Summary** Cognizant is looking for ETL Tester. **Responsibilities** Position Information Job Title ETL Quality Assurance Analyst Skill Level Intermediate 4 to 8 Years Job Responsibilities Effectively work on an ETL framework driven environment Having knowledge of Capital Market and Finance Primary responsibilities would be understand requirements data mapping define test plan develop test cases conduct reviews and execute test cases Construct test scenarios from business requirements functional specifications and design documents and ensure that requirements are linked to test artifacts and requirement coverage is adequate Evaluate test data against expected scenarios identifying deficiencies Perform Regression testing Functional testing automated testing where possible Perform root cause analysis tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements data or transformations Perform test task estimation and provides input to test delivery schedule Communicates overall status of testing activities to Leadership and project team members Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts Assists in the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices standards methodologies and metrics Contributing ideas and effort toward continuous improvement and Quality enablement Develop and maintain quality automation code and work towards automating manual QA functions Escalate issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear concise and timely manner Consistently identify solutions to issues Required Qualification Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of combined experience in Frontend ETL Database and Reports Testing with extensive working experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries Experience in software testing and quality assurance with a distinguished track record in testing complex software systems Proficient in all types of testing Sanity functional regression integration load stress and performance in Data warehouse environments Proven experience with multiple database platforms including Oracle and SQL and writing complex SQLs Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional team of Business Owners Developers Business Analysts and Quality Assurance professionals Strong organizational skills ability to complete multiple tasks under tight and competing schedules Strong technical and analytic skills ability to understand complex systems and design tests around integration and interface points Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate effectively with technical staff Business Analysts management and business team members Knowledge of Jira Knowledge of the QA processSDLC in a Waterfall Continuous Delivery and Agile environments Work independently full SDLC with minimal supervision in a team environment Preferred Qualification Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts data warehousing ETL process requirements gathering andor decision support tools Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle SDLC code control build and deployment Experience in working with large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse Data Integration Data Migration and upgrade projects Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data Experience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environment Experience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative changedriven organization Knowledge of scheduling tools preferably TWS Knowledge or experience with Informatica DVO data compare tool Experience creating automation framework scripta using PythonSelenium Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
