Job Description:
Sr. Associates’ role is to work under supervision to protect personnel, property, data and resources from accidental or intentional disclosure. This position supports the Huntsville Industrial Security Team in security-related issues; conducts security education or training classes; develops and administers security policies, strategies, guidelines, and procedures in accordance with directives, policies/procedures, local, state, and federal standards.
Essential Functions:
+ Assists in physical security controls
+ Assists in maintaining accurate key log/inventory
+ Assists in administering the process for granting personnel and visitor access to the facility
+ Maintains and audits records for containers, foreign travel, foreign visit records
+ Purge records consistent with retention schedules
+ Prepares classified and other sensitive materials for receipt, dispatch and tracer activity
+ Maintains location and/or off-site industrial security records and repositories
+ Provides support during compliance reviews
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Security experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related Security experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related Security experience.
+ Active SECRET Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Previous experience with Access control tools (Vanderbilt)
+ Previous experience coordinating with armed guard force
+ Previous experience working with GSA lock & key systems
