This position builds and maintains the constructive relationship with the company’s regulators, and influences the regulators to afford optimum benefits to the company’s agenda. This position continuously monitors new laws and regulations, performs the impact analysis of new insurance laws/ regulations on different departments, and supports to find the solutions or alternative ways of carrying out the business in compliance with the insurance laws and regulations. This position is also responsible for all regulatory correspondences from all regulators and associations of both life and non-life insurance business.

Your Day at Allianz Ayudhya

1) Relationship Management with Regulators and Associations

Promote a constructive relationship with the company’s regulators (e.g. OIC, TLAA, TGIA, other regulators) at every level Conduct regular visits with the regulators Influence the regulators to afford optimum benefits to the company’s agenda Track and monitor to ensure the constructive relationship with the company’s regulators

2) Insurance & any other applicable Laws and Regulations

Continuously monitor new insurance laws and regulations regarding to Insurance industry, and analyze the impacts on company operations and business units Provide the reports to update management team on the new insurance laws and regulations including their impacts on company operations and business units Prepare and conduct training for the relevant departments Provide consultation and support the relevant departments to find the solutions or alternative ways of carrying out the business in compliance with the insurance laws and regulations Assist in review strategic dialogue, action plans and other situations that may have significant regulatory impact and determine the pertinent course of action as required Comment/feedbacks on the draft of all laws and regulations

3) Internal Support regarding to OIC

Expedite the product approval process of OIC Regularly monitor OIC organization chart as well as the pertinent offices, and update to the relevant parties Provide supports and services to the other departments: Provide pre/ post OIC audit information informally (The formal procedures are to be taken care by line management) Facilitate when there are claim disputes Facilitate in the event to complaints submitted to OIC or OCPB with the relevant departments

4) Centralize all regulatory correspondences including the industry associations

Collect and keep all regulatory correspondences within the company with proper log for tracking Communicate and distribute all correspondences to relevant functions as appropriate for the company's actions as needed Interaction with governance body on such respondence

Must Have

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Laws, Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology, or related field 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Relationship Management, Legal, or related field in insurance or banking business Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations Knowledge of Case Management System software Insurance, reinsurance and product knowledge Strong Regulator Relationship management Influencing and lobbying skills English Communication and presentation skills Project management and coordination skills Knowledge of Microsoft Offices suite and other document management software such as Adobe Acrobat
