The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. 

The US Customer Loyalty team within, U.S. Consumer Marketing, strives to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise that makes American Express essential to our Card Members, responsible for deepening Card Member loyalty along the lifecycle through the delivery of compelling messages at the right time to drive clear engagement outcomes.

This role sits on the Membership Value team, which has the mission to deliver relevant, personalized, and meaningful value to Card Members. In doing so, our team seeks to grow share of wallet and profitably increase the value of savings and rewards the Card Member redeems while paying with their Card. 

The Senior Analyst will drive our Industry Diversification Strategy, which is focused on connecting Card Members and Merchants in key industries. You will be responsible for delivering on the strategy to inspire Card Members to use their Card to pay expenses in prioritized industries, including creating profitable Industry Offers and implementing compelling marketing plans. You will help the team dramatically increase the number of industries active per Card Member, the scale of Card Members profitably engaged, and the ROI delivered. 

This role is ideal for you if you have excellent project management skills, a growth mindset, and are eager to advance your marketing, strategic, and analytical skills. 

How will you make an impact in this role?

Deliver on the Industry Diversification Strategy, inspiring Card Members to use their Amex Card in more industries Lead end to end execution of Industry Offers that will deliver profitable growth Lead end to end execution of marketing plans, including partnering with creative agencies, partnering internally to shepherd creatives through review processes, delivering targeting files, and more Lead offer and marketing performance management, including ownership of the Industry Diversification Scorecard, analysis of campaign results, identification of key insights, and budget optimization Continually advance our results and execution efficiency by identifying new opportunities and applying a test & learn approach. Collaborate with colleagues across the US Customer Marketing Team, as well as with teams across the enterprise, such as Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS), Analytics Teams, and Product, Platforms, and Execution teams

Minimum Qualifications

Passion for marketing and creating excellent customer experiences. Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent analytic skills, with the ability to identify relevant insights and form recommendations to action the insights. Proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative, adapt well to change, and problem-solve independently. Excellent communication skills, across both verbal and written formats. Proven partnerships skills, with the ability to work across different functions and colleagues of varying band levels. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. 1-2 years marketing experience preferred. Experience with Amex marketing execution processes is a plus.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
