Sr Analyst, Credit Risk Management - Strategy & Data Science

Collaborate seamlessly with a talented group of analysts, identifying groundbreaking credit segmentation opportunities through statistical methods. Fuel enhancements in our credit decision processes, policies, collections strategies, and fraud prevention measures. This role extends beyond just analysis – you'll be an integral part of the Credit Risk Management team, working hand-in-hand with business partners at T-Mobile. Apply statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunitiesPerform sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to ensure financial goals are being attainedDevelop predictive financial and analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysisParticipate and perform the analysis of new data and statistical products by external vendorsPerform loss forecasting analysisExtract, process and transform data from multiple disparate sources; analyzing credit bureau data and alternative credit dataDeliver work output with full awareness and adherence to project timelines or agreed upon deadlines

Qualifications – Minimum Required

5+ years of quantitative analytic modeling experience or comparable process management experienceBA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degree requiredBasic proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other statistical software packages requiredOutstanding computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint requiredStrong communication (spoken and written), organization and presentation skillsProven time management skills and awareness of project management methods

Education – Minimum Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degree

Qualifications – Desired

Graduate degree in a quantitative field a plusIntermediate or higher proficiency in SAS or other statistical/analytical programming languages highly preferredPrior consumer risk management experience preferredWireless / Telecom experience

• At least 18 years of age
