Description We are in search of a diligent and autonomous Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team in the Service industry based out of Memphis, Tennessee. The Sr. Accountant will be entrusted with the responsibilities of managing payroll, benefits work, and various accounting tasks. Responsibilities: • Handling the payroll operations for a group of individuals • Managing benefits-related tasks • Conducting Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations • Maintaining and managing the General Ledger • Recording and maintaining Journal Entries • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks • Managing the Month End Close operations • Working with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential • Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation effectively • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required • Solid understanding of the General Ledger is necessary • Capability to handle Journal Entries accurately • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Experience with Month End Close processes is essential • Knowledge of NetSuite is highly desirable • Familiarity with Oracle is a plus • Proficiency in SAP is beneficial • Experience in Payroll processing is required Position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
