Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Accountant, you will work in the industry, ensuring the accuracy of all accounts, assisting with financial consolidation, and supporting M& A activities. Responsibilities • Ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and supported in the general ledger • Reviewing and posting various journal entries including accruals, amortizations, and adjustments • Assisting in the completion of the company’s financial audit in a timely and successful manner • Maintaining compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements • Processing monthly account reconciliations for general ledger accounts • Assisting with financial consolidation on a monthly basis • Supporting or leading due diligence and integration efforts in M& A activities • Managing the resolution of discrepancies or issues that arise in accounts • Utilizing various software including Office Suite and ERPs such as Epicor, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP • Applying in-depth knowledge of corporate accounting principles (including GAAP), laws and best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is essential • Proficiency in General Ledger management is a must • Capability to handle Journal Entries is needed • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory • Experience with Month End Close processes is required • Familiarity with NetSuite software is a plus • Proficiency in Oracle software is desirable • Experience with SAP software is advantageous • Knowledge in Cost Accounting is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
