This role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and sustaining talent development programs and initiatives to support our career Field Leader workforce that are in alignment with our strategic goals. The role will be responsible for, but not limited to program design, vendor selection as applicable, content creation, communications planning, logistic management (in partnership with our coordinators), evaluation and analytics. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in learning and development, organizational development, and leadership training. This role requires someone who can engage with senior leadership, collaborate across departments, and drive initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
This can be a remote position within the US.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will lead the designing, implementation, and direction of talent development programs and initiatives that support our career Field Leader workforce including:
Program Design and Implementation:
Lead the design and execution of comprehensive talent development programs, including client experience skills, sales effectiveness development, leadership development, product and advice knowledge training and employee engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify development and learning needs and develop customized programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
Leadership Development:
Develop and deliver high-impact leadership development programs that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Design and implement a leadership competency framework that outlines the skills and behaviors required for success at different levels of leadership within the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure leadership development initiatives are integrated with overall talent management strategies.
Organizational Development:
Partner with our business execution team and business leaders to drive organizational change initiatives, including culture transformation, team building, and change management.
Assess organizational needs and develop strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
Learning & Development:
Oversee the development and delivery of training programs, including e-learning, workshops, and seminars.
Measure the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Talent Management:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, talent reviews, and high-potential development.
Identify and nurture key talent within the organization, ensuring a strong pipeline for future leadership roles.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with senior leadership and department heads to ensure alignment of talent development initiatives with business objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent development strategies and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in human resources, education, organizational development, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance management.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of development programs.
Licensing: FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required or obtained within 120 days
Preferred:
Master's Degree
Experience in launch and onboarding in the financial services industry or for sales positions
Knowledge of tools, techniques and resources for onboarding sales candidates preferred
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
