WebPT is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to enhance IT services and boost employee productivity. This role focuses on managing and automating identity services (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta), automating employee onboarding/offboarding, securing workstations using Microsoft Intune and other tools, and enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Partnering with the Desktop Support team is essential for acting as an escalation point, resolving chronic issues at their root, streamlining efficiency, reducing workload, and ultimately enhancing the overall employee experience.
What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team
Manage Identity Services: Oversee and optimize identity management systems including Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta to ensure secure and efficient user access. Security Implementation: Onboard all applications to Okta Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO). Manage and enhance these solutions to bolster security practices. Workstation Management: Administer and maintain workstations using Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and government regulations. Automation: Identify and automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workload. Enhance the self-service experience for employees using chatbots and AI tools. Imaging and Security Policies: Develop and enforce robust imaging processes and security policies to protect workstation integrity and data from malicious actors. Vulnerability Management: Collaborate with the Desktop Support team to utilize tools to identify and address vulnerabilities on workstations, ensuring a secure computing environment. Collaboration and Mentoring: Partner with the Desktop Support team to act as the escalation point for complex issues. Assist and mentor team members, enhancing team productivity, security, and the overall user experience. Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain compliance.
What You Should Have to Qualify
Technical Expertise: 7 to 10 years of experience with proficiency in managing Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and Microsoft Intune. Automation Skills: 4 plus years of automation experience using powershell, Python and/or other scripting language or tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Security Knowledge: Strong understanding and configuration MFA and SSO implementations and experience implementing and enforcing security best practices. Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in maintaining security policies and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a positive and productive workplace. Work Schedule: The individual is required to work from 9 AM to 6 PM Phoenix local time, four days a week at the Phoenix office. Occasionally, weekend work may be necessary for key initiatives. Participation in an on-call rotation is also expected.
Ideally, You Would Also Have These
Working knowledge of Google Suite, AWS Workspaces, Manage Engine, Windows Servers and Jira is a big plus. Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) will give an edge.

To function at a high level, you are expected to be reliable and adhere to your schedule designated by your leader including working from the office and night shift as needed for key initiatives.

During interviews, we'll discuss your qualifications and expectations, striving for a competitive and fair offer. The initial hiring range for this position is: $88,000 - $114,400.
