Sr Strategic Planning Specialist

The Sr Strategic Planning Specialist is responsible for\ncollaborating to create the development and execution of the Strategic Planning\n(STRAP) process and competitive intelligence initiatives for the enterprise.\nThis role plays a critical role in shaping the long-term strategic direction of\nHoneywell and ensuring its competitiveness in the market. 

The Sr Strategic Planning Specialist will report to the Sr.\nDirector of Corporate Strategy and will work out of the Charlotte NC office on\na 3/2 hybrid work schedule after the first 90-days with Honeywell. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate\n with the development and implementation of corporate strategic plans and\n initiatives.Conduct\n thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry\n developments to inform strategic recommendations.Collaborate\n closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify\n business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.Evaluate\n potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investment opportunities to\n support growth objectives.Prepare\n and present strategic recommendations, business cases, and presentations\n to different audiences and stakeholders.Monitor\n and assess the performance of strategic initiatives, and adjust strategies\n as needed to achieve corporate goals.Collaborating\n in the strategic planning process, including setting priorities,\n establishing metrics, and ensuring alignment with overall business\n objectives.Stay\n informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to\n anticipate challenges and opportunities.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in corporate planning, management consulting, or\nstrategic planning roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector (discrete manufacturing or\nprocess industries)
• Advanced financial modeling skills
• Knowledge of market research methodologies
