The role of the Global Engagement Services Architect is responsible for consulting with clients to analyze and understand the client's business needs and create a services solution to meet those requirements. This position will be the focal point for effective communications with the client/prospect for the development of a services solution.
The Services Architect is expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of UKG’s services and practices and work with each service line to create and coordinate the proposed solution and pricing. The Services Architect will be responsible for driving revenue by evaluating, product positioning, and selling the optimal services components for the client. The Services Architect will be the single point of contact for sales and clients for services opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partner with the UKG Sales organization and designated Services Architects line of business to pursue and close services opportunities
• Provide a single point of contact to Sales and Services Delivery for services opportunities
• Develop an understanding of each target customer’s business, operations, and industry trends
• Understand the customer’s strategic business and technology goals and create the proposed service approach and solution
• Drive the sales process to completion coordinating all Services resources and documentation such as proposals, SOW’s, RFP responses, etc
• Track critical sales and pipeline data on opportunities using existing systems
• Maintain a pipeline and communicate it to Strategist, Sales and Services Delivery management
• Contribute to the improved efficiency of the sales function by participating in the development and deployment of appropriate services sales tools/templates
• Grow services revenue by interacting with all levels of customer management and proposing solutions that provide business benefit
• Participate in Rapid Improvement Team Involvement
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years in a professional services role, ideally 3+ years in application software implementation and/or services sales
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of HCM, WFM, Scheduling, Leave Management, or similar domain product/systems required
• Previous experience with customer presentations, developing SOW’s, responding to RFP’s, estimating projects, and negotiating contracts
• Ability to develop and manage complex Services solutions for small to medium business to Enterprise level organizations
• Well versed in Launch implementation methodology with experience defining project requirements, managing project engagements, developing project plans, etc
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Develop good working relationships with staff in Services and Sales organizations
• Ability to be engaged in the art of consultative selling and negotiating techniques
• Intermediate presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate the services value proposition as part of the overall business solution
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with C-Level executives in an “influence without authority” role
• Understands the impact and implications of political, social, economic, technological, and competitive trends on UKG and customer organizations
• Working knowledge of nuances of the small to medium business to Enterprise-level business space preferred
• B.A. / B.S. degree, with a focus in business or Information technology preferred

The pay range for this position is $88,700 to $127,500, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
