Job Description Summary

Analyze, design, develop, deliver, administer and manage training content and programs for instructor-led and computer-based learning for insurance agents of World Financial Group Insurance Agency, both in the US and Canada, and registered representatives of Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. Serve as support for learning technology and assist with the maintenance of online course content. Assess and determine training needs based on interactions with sales leadership, compliance and legal, managerial feedback, and observation of agent activity and performance. Conduct ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of training efforts based on levels of participant reaction, knowledge acquired, behavioral change, and business impact.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts to analyze, write, design, develop, deliver, and manage complex training and development projects related to financial products, sales practices, regulations, technology platforms, and related systems. Support annual broker-dealer firm element training program, as well as other BD and RIA training initiatives.Support strategic initiatives; attend meetings and support project work in new products and system projects. Meet regularly with the leaders of strategic projects to assess involvement and impact and identify gaps or items that need to be addressed throughout the process.Promote continual process improvement and partnership with team members to ensure consistency and leverage knowledge and experience to ensure a quality product that adds value to the organization.Deliver and assess process, system, and functional training.Design and develop curriculum, resources, and job aids that support the success of the learning programs.Assist in the administration of Learning Management System (LMS) and other training technology platforms; help drive continual improvement of the end user experience and operational efficiencies.Evaluate content from third party providers and provide feedback/recommendations; manage scheduling, delivery, tracking, and integration of third-party content within the TFA learning ecosystem.Continue to grow and develop as a learning professional by contributing to the success of the team; demonstrate and share best learning practices with business groups and team members, and by act as a role model in the learning professional field.Analyze needs of the business unit to ensure that the design and documentation of learning materials is effective.Assist field representatives with training support issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experienceFive years learning and development experienceFINRA Series 6 (or obtain within 120 days of hire)Excellent customer service and motivational skills with the ability to work on a team andindependentlyStrong documentation and technical writing skillsAbility to incorporate creative and innovative solutions in a learning environmentProject management skills that include research capabilities and effective prioritizationStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge of and ability to demonstrate adult learning principlesComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications

**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules and other compensation posting laws.  It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**

 

Compensation:

The salary for this position generally ranges between $82,000- $92,000 annually This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2 and other applicable local regulations.

 

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 10% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
