Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing US commercial rebate claims administration, including claims processing, contract maintenance, formulary and data validation, report generation, month end accrual calculations, SOP governance, and SOX control compliance. It is expected that this person become a subject matter expert within our Model N system and will ensure systems are setup to accurately validate and calculate per the terms and conditions for each customer.Job Description
Maintain trackers such as Deliverables Tracker, Generic and Injectible Solutions VIR Tracker, KPI reporting etc.Host management status review meetings with team members weeklyReview all contracts and letter agreements for potential changes to Model N setups and manual rebate calculations for Brand, Generic and Sterile Injectible businessesIdentify disputes and communicate with A/R Collections to provide support for their efforts to secure paybacks from customers.Review and approve rebates, admin fees and other related fees in accordance with the Company’s designated authority limits. This includes failure to supply penalties, price protection, shelf stock, promotional allowances, make-whole payments and other.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to customers, both internal and external. This reporting includes customer payment reports, rebate reporting to internal commercial team, etc.Oversee calculations of key monthly accruals for Rebates and Admin Fees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accountability.Perform analytics of various types of transactional data to facilitate improved understanding of business drivers and to mitigate risk.70%
Communicate directly with external customers and across a number of cross-functional areas including the Sales and Marketing and AR teams to ensure that accurate discounts and rebates are being extended and to resolve customer issues.10%
Ensure contract and rebate program setups are performed timely and accurately within Model NEnsure Validata is setup and scrubbing data accurately in accordance with the terms and conditions for each managed care account.Partner with IT on Model N upgrade projects and oversee UAT when necessarySubject matter expert for various Model N revenue management system modules, identifying system improvement opportunities.Ensure systems are setup to accurately validate and calculate per contracted terms.
