Sr Program Manager, Free Cash Flow, Sub-Saharan Africa

We are seeking a results-oriented leader with a solid track record in data-driven decision-making and proven expertise in program management. As the Sr. Program Manager for Free Cash Flow, you will be at the center of multiple cross-functional teams working to deliver operational improvements and drive profitability for our consumer businesses in Sub Saharan Africa. This role requires getting hands-on with data dive deeps to identify creative solutions to ambiguous problems, to scope and manage program launches and their timelines, and to maintain strong lines of communication with senior management on status, risks, and process / product changes. Cross-team coordination, program management, and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve profitability while minimizing negative impact to the customer experience.
• Work closely with central program teams and operation stakeholders across US, EU, and Asia to understand changes in global strategies and processes for reducing our cost-to-serve. You will represent the voice of customer for Sub-Saharan Africa and decide how these initiatives can be best adapted for our marketplace needs.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to see through product interventions needed for FCF programs to scale and ultimately, drive substantial impact on cost reduction.
• Support Operations, Finance, and Retail category teams in managing their short-term commitments to profitability goals and implementing mechanisms to help keep them on track.
• Perform dive deeps into multiple elements that govern the decision making to launch or expand programs.
• Benchmarking our performance across FCF programs/practices with the best in class (internal and external), leveraging available data to own and influence the long-term vision of your area of ownership, and presenting the 3 – 5 year action plan to achieving the vision to senior management.
