Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Sr Production Specialist who will manage and lead the shift which is responsible for all aspects of operating, preparing (mixing),  filling, packaging, and tote washing. Incumbents in this position should have the ability to perform any of the tasks within the production department, with the exception of material handling, mixing and bulk receiving/shipping.

What You Will Do:

Enter production data accurately into the warehouse management systemReports damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping purposesRecommends, implements and promotes measures to improve departmental productivity and efficiencies (OEE, OPE), product quality, methods and working conditions to minimize downtown.Follows TPM/continuous improvement principlesProactively communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to the appropriate functional/department leaderAssists in training teammatesMaintains a clean and safe work environment, and Good Housekeeping for all plant with blendersPerforms other duties as assigned Completes cycle counts regularly and manages inventory for the Production department    Keep the equipment in good condition ( cleaning, testing, inspection)Follow and adhere to the operation and Safety SOP's and good practice on daily operationSAP tasks open-closing process orders and print labels correctly and timelyProper shift handoverManage and lead the shift perfectly and safely and adhere with the production planReviews preparation (mixing), filling, and packaging instructions at beginning of line runs.Ensures that the correct raw and packaging materials are available.Ensure performing all operations on the lines, including loading lines with empty containers, labeling, preparation (mixing), filling, capping, bar coder generation, taking samples, keeping area clean and organized and other related activities.Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis and special projectsCompletes and documents activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enters results on paper or in computer (example; Process Order, CIL, Cleaning Logbook)Follow and adhere to Safety, quality and production related Work Instruction, Memo’s, and SOP.Assists with line changeover, including the collection of wash water.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalentThree years of previous experience in Chemical plant or warehouseTwo years of previous experience with Reaction chemistryBasic English language, reading and writing.Outlook experienceAbility to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals.Forklift DrivingNo immigration sponsorship available for this roleAbility to meet physical requirements of position.
