Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. **What You Will Do:** + Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise/Microsoft Windows and environment. + Lead and coordinate the Red Hat Installation and configuration. + Participate in all phases of Engineering software installation and support, with emphasis on testing, documentation, and acceptance phases. + Collaborate with teams and mentor junior Linux admins. + Apply understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.  + Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). + Participate and lead technical meetings with team members and program personnel representing the organization in functional area matters. + Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. + Responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Linux/Windows infrastructure for classified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and workstation support + Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned. + Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. + Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours + Full time 100% Onsite position **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + Experience with some of, but not limited to, the following technologies: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, BackupExec, NetBackup, prior systems administration experience, Windows or Linux administration, Backup and Recovery enterprise suites + Must have experience in mentoring others or lead experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Active DoD T/S clearance, or the ability to obtain one + Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification. + Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF + In-depth working experience in RedHat Enterprise Linux + Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions + Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development + Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange + High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment + Experience with Server architectures and troubleshooting methods and ability to assist in developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems + Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Linux Desktops, Windows desktops (Windows 10, 11), Splunk and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods + Scripting/ automation PowerShell, Bash **What We Offer:** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
