Sr Plastics Process Engineer #17403

Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process development, equipment optimization, and integration of material capabilities to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field 6+ years of experience in injection molding process development Knowledge of scientific molding principles Experience with RJG cavity pressure systems Background in a regulated industry Preferred Skills: Experience in process validation and manufacturing transfer Understanding of material selection and tooling design Familiarity with statistical analysis and process optimization Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards Job Responsibilities: Develop and optimize injection molding processes to improve production efficiency and quality Implement equipment and process modifications to enhance manufacturing techniques and yields Integrate material and equipment capabilities to meet target specifications Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure process compatibility Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and equipment assessments for new manufacturing concepts Lead process validation and ensure compliance with industry regulations Utilize statistical process control techniques and recommend improvements to measurement systems Oversee tooling, fixture, and equipment installation to align with manufacturing requirements

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
