Sr Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Planner with experience in implementing and maintaining SNC's Material Requirement Plan (Costpoint, MRPI) and Advanced Planning System (Ortems, MRPII). You will need a thorough understanding of Manufacturing and Planning concepts and be able to work with cross-functional teams to implement and support solutions. The Sr Planner will be responsible to continue seamless integration of the Scheduling and Planning system with existing processes and systems, as well as identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain efficient supply chain schedules for optimal order and delivery planning.
• Monitor KPI’s
• ERP Integration: Ensure APS and ERP systems integration
• Identify reporting capabilities
• Identify Scheduling gaps
• Monitor manufacturing performance through MRPI and MPRII
• Identify Strategic and Capacity Planning through Resource Allocation and Scheduling Optimization
• Troubleshoot stop gaps with Business Areas. Identify and resolve material and scheduling issues promptly.
• Train and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute supply chain schedules.
• Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study and typically 10+ years of relevant experienceA higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExposure to the engineering change processStrong understanding of master production planningStrong understanding of Supply Chain Management and LogisticsFamiliarity with applicable manufacturing drawingsExperience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and interpretation or creation of work instructionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with Program ManagementTechnical/Engineering degreeStrong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as it applies to Supplier ManagementExperience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and /or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SystemsExperience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling and SoftwareBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryExperience in Supply Chain Management and /or Operations ManagementExperience in Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
