**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Demonstrated ability to lead the local Sales & Operations Planning process, including analyzing forecasts and data from Demand and Supply Planning.
+ Develops solid supply plans that meet service level and operations objectives and works closely with Finance and Operations to gain their input and approval into the final results.
+ Clearly communicate agreed upon production quantities and mix to business unit.
+ 99% PA fill rate goal – when backorder exists full responsibility for backorder management, root cause analysis, status, prioritization, communication.
+ Production Plan attainment reporting and communication, including holding Operations accountable to the S&OP agreed plan as well as controlling engineering hours requests and performance.
+ Set and maintain appropriate inventory levels that meet service level objectives to customers balanced with divisional DIOH (Days Inventory On Hand) goals.
+ Manage new product introductions to achieve agreed upon launch dates with targeted launch inventory levels while developing and implementing plans that minimize phase out obsolescence.
+ Monthly inventory management of excess, obsolete, expiring inventory, including developing and implementing solutions to minimize inventory write-offs and communication with Finance on write-off potential.
+ Proficient in ERP systems functionality as well as SC reporting tools. Drives S&OP discussions and build plans based on the quality/service/cost principles and making sure ths site scorecard is aligned. Holds Supply and Demand Planning accountable for signal inconsistencies.
+ Different functions and roles related to Supply chain according to business needs.
**Shift: Admin (Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)**
**On-Site position**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years experience in demand/supply planning or inventory management.
+ _Advanced commands of English_
+ _Advanced MS Excel_
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3 years working in a highly regulated environment preferred.
+ Experience in production lines transfers
+ Power BI
+ Master’s degree is a plus.
+ Medical Device experience is desired.
+ APICS or other Planning related certification is preferred.
+ Experience with SAP & APO preferred.
