Job Title – Sr Network Engineer (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra Ops Specialist with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki Wired and Wireless Switching and Routing Cisco, Cisco VPN and Cisco Catalyst SDWAN (Viptela). This role requires working from the office during day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

· Oversee the daily operations of the network infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Cisco Meraki Wired and Wireless systems.

· Implement and manage Cisco Switching and Routing solutions to maintain seamless network connectivity.

· Configure and maintain Cisco VPNs to ensure secure remote access for users.

· Deploy and manage Cisco Catalyst SDWAN (Viptela) solutions to enhance network efficiency and performance.

· Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement to prevent potential issues.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.

· Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations processes and procedures.

· Provide training and support to junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in network technologies to ensure the companys infrastructure remains cutting-edge.

· Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure network resilience in case of emergencies.

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on network performance and project progress.

Qualifications

· Possess extensive experience with Cisco Meraki Wired and Wireless systems.

· Demonstrate strong expertise in Cisco Switching and Routing technologies.

· Have hands-on experience with configuring and managing Cisco VPNs.

· Show proficiency in deploying and managing Cisco Catalyst SDWAN (Viptela) solutions.

· Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Have a solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.

· Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Be detail-oriented with excellent documentation abilities.

· Stay proactive in learning and adapting to new network technologies.

· Have a proven track record of successfully managing network infrastructure projects.

· Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

· Be committed to maintaining high standards of network performance and reliability.

· Hold relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.

Certifications Required

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until November 15, 2024

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000- $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
