Sr Mgr Content Strategy

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations.


• Create and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives the brand messaging and visual consistency across all materials.

• Coordinate with copywriters, creative services, and SMEs to produce high-quality, engaging content in various formats, including 

• Work with stakeholders and Marketing team members to drive content engagement with the right audience across multiple channels, including blogs, paid media, infographics, videos, articles, white papers, case studies, infographics, organic social media and SMS/email campaigns.

• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategies and enhance audience engagement.

• Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs and interests and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Work with Creative Services to ensure all marketing material adheres to brand standards

• Assists with emergency communication needs in the event of inclement weather, power outage or other major incidents

• Collaborate with the team's manager and IT staff to support website development projects.

• Project manage work in the team's work management tool: Workfront

• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility

• Support analysis of external communications and marketing procedures continually, with the objective of driving simplicity and effectiveness

• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility

• Assist with additional ad-hoc communications projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Experience:

• Experience working with data/analytics to interpret data to drive content strategy decisions.

• 5+ years’ experience with the position’s essential duties and responsibilities

• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate business objectives into effective content initiatives.

• Must have strong organizational and proven track record of being able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and prioritize accordingly

• Ability to manage relationships with key internal stakeholders, writers, designers, and multimedia creators

• Must be extremely detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and able to build effective working relationships 

• Creative and innovative thinker

• Must be able to work independently as needed

• Strong editorial instincts and complete command of the English language

• Experience with healthcare industry strongly preferred

• Required proficiency in: Microsoft 365 services (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint & Teams)


Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required.
