Job Title

Sr Manager Strategy and M&A

As the Sr Manager Strategy and M&A, you will be responsible for designing, building and managing an integrated approach to strategy management of the organization. Key responsibilities include merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities of the Company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Participate in all major strategic planning, corporate performance management and risk management efforts under direction of the CFO office and in close collaboration with senior leaders.Monitor fiscal/monetary affairs, including financial policies and plans and relationships with the financial community.Conduct market analysis and insights, and competitive intelligence assessments to inform strategic planning.Advise management of financial affairs and assists in long range planning.Ensure appropriate investment risk is maintained.Maintain good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities, being a key point of contact for the company with these counterparts.Direct and conducts financial analyses and modeling.Participate in transaction (M&A and divestiture) financial evaluation and assists in negotiations.Lead projects that may include internal and external stakeholders on M&A related activity or other strategic partnership opportunity.  Responsible for managing stakeholder relationships as well as ensuring the project work is completed through both individual contribution and managing project team members.Identify and communicate strategic insights and findings to appropriate stakeholdersSupport annual strategy planning cycle, including meetings and guidance to strategic projects.Manage the analysis of internal business metrics (current product mix, market share, distribution channels, pricing strategy, and other internal competitive factors) to enable strategic decision making.Advisor to functional leadership on areas of strategic focus, sharing insights and performance analysis that will highlight areas of opportunity and success; facilitate action planning with functional leaders.Assist in the analysis of potential acquisition and investment candidates, the performance of complex financial modeling and other analyses to support the negotiation for selected transactions.Research industry participants and competitive landscape to develop actionable awareness of potential acquisition and investment candidates. Evaluate target companies for financial, operational and strategic fit and understands and evaluates the impact of the potential transaction on business strategy.Assist in the execution of strategic acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic investments from inception through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, closing and integration of a transaction.

Job Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred


Experience:

Significant experience with implementation and ongoing management of strategy, performance management, risk management, and all aspects of M&A transactions.Minimum 7 years relevant experience in a corporate environment, with at least 3 years of experience in strategy management and M&A. Experience in customer-centric strategy planning and execution, performance management, or business intelligence a plus.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Expert level understanding of strategy management and ability to lead strategy implementation projects.Strong analytical, financial modeling, research skills and outstanding problem-solving skills.Strategic thinker with strong leadership and facilitation skills.Ability to communicate and translate data trends to leadership and objective owners.Demonstrated ability to communicate with Executive level leadership and move initiatives forward.Strong project management skills or Lean Six Sigma Experience.Strong presentation skills required.Expert level knowledge of MS Office (with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).Strong communication skills, particularly facilitation skills in a workshop setting.Exhibits strong interpersonal and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 124,786.00 - USD 171,581.00
