Sr Manager Net Revenue Management 

 

The Senior Manager, Net Revenue Management  is accountable for creating and delivering NRM initiatives to improve net sales and profitability primarily with customer spend and resourcing across US Consumer Health Sales Organization to measurable impacts for the US market.

 

Leading NRM as it pertains to all customer team trade spend for the sales organization. This includes developing trade spending processes and practices to maximize Bayer trade spending ROI and best practices. Responsibilities include working with internal partners (Commercial Strategy & Operations, Customer finance, etc.) to maximize investments and develop customer end to end trade spend transformation. Partner with NRM analysts to create opportunities across customer facing NRM levels, including pricing, promotion, product offerings, mix management, and trade terms management, in partnership with brand teams. This includes close partnership with the Global NRM team to reapply their tools and learning, while also sharing globally our visions and opportunities.  This role will build Gross to Net savings that will deliver our Strategic Trade Term Transformation vision of growing Net Sales ahead of Gross Sales in the future.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr Manager Net Revenue Management, are to:

 

Identify, develop and evaluate net revenue growth opportunities across Bayer brands/categories through to the customer team spends. Key areas include, but are not limited to, trade spend, pricing, promotion, customer discounts, and customer trade terms;Serve on period pricing committee to ensure Bayer is capitalizing on market trends, and maintain deep understanding of relevant markets, channel and competitive dynamics, value drivers and consumer insights;Oversee and manage project teams to drive end-to-end NRM content development between BCH and our customer teams, by applying NRM methodologies, guiding iteration of trade spend analyses, identifying opportunities and developing actionable recommendations in our Go To Market, customer facing activities;Pressure-test solutions, build on analyses, challenge and improve assumptions and methodology and guide detailed analyses, modeling and sizing of opportunities;Secure and integrate resources across all functions in BCH to deliver the identified NRM initiatives;Develop insights and recommendations to Bayer senior leaders and customer teams to influence stakeholders across functions, lead decision making and activate Net Revenue Management opportunities;Lead implementation of NRM initiatives, managing cross-functional teams to translate NRM initiatives into a concrete action plans and achievable solutions; work with Customer Team Leaders/SLT to integrate initiatives within broader Bayer trade program;Develop and maintain expertise in NRM methodologies, processes, analyses and outputs and translate that to other members of the organization;Work closely with  Advanced Analytics & Insights team to develop & implement predictive analytic tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Knowledge ordinarily acquired from BS/BA degree (MBA desirable) plus a minimum of 10 years business experience including knowledge of operating within a sales organization, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience;Experience should include at least 8 years in the consumer packaged goods industry. Sales organization experience sufficient to possess an in depth knowledge of customer/industry sales trends, sales incentives, sales systems, quota process design, and business practices, as well as knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and analysis, and a strong understanding of sales/trade customer business practices;Field Sales experience is strongly desired but not required.  YOUR APPLICATION
