This role requires close collaboration with IT directors and stakeholders to align projects with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional user experiences. This role is pivotal in ensuring that IT projects are aligned with business objectives and that operations run smoothly, supporting the organization's overall success. **Your day-to-day** + **Project Leadership:** Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. + **Team Management:** Lead and mentor a team of program managers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. + **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with IT directors and stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize projects, and develop strategies that support organizational goals. + **Operational Support:** Ensure the IT team provides effective support across the organization, maintaining high availability and reliability of systems and networks. + **Process Optimization:** Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations, increase efficiency, and enhance productivity. + **Vendor Management:** Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the organization's technology needs are met effectively. + **Financial Oversight:** Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Collaborate with finance teams todevelop strategies that support business objectives and drivegrowth **What you bring to the team** + **Educational Background:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. + **Experience:** 12+ years experience in IT project management and operations, with a track record of leading teams to successful project completions. + **Leadership Skills:** Strong leadership abilities with a passion for hands-on work and mentorship. 3+ years of previous management experience required. + **Communication:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders. + **Technical Proficiency:** In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems, with experience in system installation, configuration, and analysis. + **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and resolve technical and operational issues as required. **Why Proofpoint** Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
