What's it all about?

Sr Manager, EU VAS Acceptance Solutions – Payer Interface will report to the Director, EU VAS Acceptance Solutions and will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of payer interface solutions, including in-person acceptance (Tap to Phone, Kernel in Cloud, Card Present Connect), digital acceptance (Click to Pay UI, Instalments, Pay by Link, Recurrent Payments, Apple and Google Pay, Microforms, etc), secure payment credentials (Token Management Services) and acceptance devices. This role will focus on creating safe and seamless and omnichannel customer experience for our EU Acceptance clients (acquirers, merchants, ISVs).

The successful candidate must have strong commercial acumen, data-driven strategic thinking, great presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build fast rapport and credibility with stakeholders. The focus of the role is supporting the expansion of client-relevant Payer Interface solutions in key EU markets, with a product and commercial mindset, short- and long-term vision, and backed by data.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines and will be equally comfortable interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders of various seniority level.

What we expect of you, day to day.

Localise payer interface solutions for our EU region and markets within, gather insights on regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors' activities and implications to inform regional solutions leads decision-makingLead the development and implementation of new solutions or product enhancements to drive better user experience and unlock further revenue growthCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payer interface solutions with other Visa products and servicesConduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovationDevelop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Visa's strategic goals and objectivesAdvocate for payer interface solutions internally and externally, maintaining constant communication with markets, sellers and product teamsDrive the commercialisation and scaling of payer interface solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of Visa's European Acceptance clients (acquirers, merchants, ISVs)Manage the P&L of payer interface solutions, utilizing strategic planning and analytics to grow the businessSelect and monitor performance metrics to assess product performance, revenue, scalability, and longevityDevelop sales strategies and collaborate with sales and business development teams to implement themDevelop value propositions for payer interface solutions and build effective offers for sales channels

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

QualificationsBasic: Mid-level work experience in payments or related technology/financial services field Preferred: experience in solution or commercialisation roles within Software as a Service organisations, curious, driven, strategic and analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, ability to handle uncertainty, extensive experience in executing product adjustments, and understanding of the European markets.Multilingual fluency – English + European language highly desirable.Travel: Approximately 10-15% travel required.

Hybrid position: Employees are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
