Sr. Manager, CRM Activation     


General Summary
The CRM Activation role leads project management for the DSW CRM & Promotions agile pod, executing personalized promotions and other agile marketing testing. This individual will coach the team on agile testing principles, methodology and best practices, lead key planning touchpoints, ensure accountability of test execution, and maintain key artifacts and documentation. They are also responsible for tracking workstream impact and targets, championing agile ways of working, fostering collaboration within the team and with the rest of the organization, supporting pod members, and communicating updates and creating alignment with leadership across functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Indicate four to seven PRIMARY job duties and the percentage of time. Please do NOT include a list of competencies, as those are indicated below.

•    Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint retro) to maintain productive sprint cadence and pod momentum
•    Oversee pod delivery against impact targets and bring accountability and transparency to the team, facilitating problem solving, tracking follow-ups and removing roadblocks
•    Ensure at pace execution of prioritized tests and other initiatives
•    Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration inside and outside the pod, and build a supportive and collaborative environment for problem solving and support engagement with stakeholders outside of the pod
•    Support capability building within the pod and coach team members on their development
•    Engage DSW leadership by communicating progress and learnings (including preparing materials for Steering Committee updates) and leveraging support from leaders to resolve challenges


Required Skills and Competencies:

•    Experience running agile pods or similar collaborative formats to deliver against key business objectives; Expertise in Agile Methodology and/or PMP certification preferred
•    Strong cross-functional collaborator, leader, and team manager, adept at facilitation, conflict resolution and removing blockers
•    Proven track record of managing teams and process to deliver against quantified business outcomes
•    Familiarity with CRM/Personalized marketing and/or promotions execution in retail
•    Passionate about empowering others to perform to the best of their capability
•    Proactive with a strong ownership mindset and a “can do” attitude
•    Executive-level communication skills

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience:
•    5+ years’ experience in Project Management role
•    Marketing/CRM experience required
•    Comfort with developing and evolving A/B test scenarios  


Preferred Qualifications:
•    Retail experience a plus


Minimum Education:
•    Bachelor's Degree
•    Agile Methodology, PMP or similar certifications preferred
