The Sr Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting financial oversight of LCS Development with emphasis on budgeting, reporting, financial modeling, forecasting, analysis and benchmarking. Analyst will partner with LCS Development staff and leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, analyze LCS Development performance, aid in business decision support, and provide other training and support as needed. Analyst must be capable of managing and prioritizing individual workload to ensure delivery of appropriate information regarding leadership’s needs, issues, recommendations and opportunities by relevant date.

The Role:
Assists in the financial analysis and reporting for projects under development including cost tracking and preparing loan draw requests. Assists in the preparation and updating of financial models including creating monthly reports and analyses Prepares financial management reporting, analysis, comparisons and forecasts Assists in the preparation of financial results and operating impact to Senior Management Prepares comparisons of financial results across periods and/or between projects Assists in the preparation of LCS Development budgets, projections and near-term forecasts (Outlook) Assists in the monthly forecasting of future results with the LCS Development team Utilizes benchmarking and comparisons to evaluate LCS Development performance Supports LCS Leadership to aid in business decisions of the Company Participation in Company financial reporting and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting Assists with, reviews and approves the monthly Development Fee billings prepared by LCS Development staff Assists LCS Development leadership with preparing presentations to Committees, Boards and Owners (internal and external), as requested Utilizes various financial models to assist with pro forma cash flows, fee analysis, A/R reserve adequacy, and other needs Performs as a department team member by assisting co-workers with overloads as time permits, training new co-workers, and contributing to team projects Assists with the design, development, and roll-out of new or enhanced financial systems including updates to instructions, enhancements to models and testing changes Updates and/or creates models and reporting tools Completes special projects, as requested or assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred or equivalent years of experience required. Minimum of 4-6 years related experience required. Construction finance or accounting experience preferred. Flexible and able to handle changing priorities and interruptions Ability to interact with a wide range of people including field personnel, auditors, and all levels of LCS personnel Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to solve accounting problems of medium difficulty Working knowledge of accounting systems (Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing, General Ledger) Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.) Solid understanding of customer service principles, and the ability to apply them. Strong oral and written communication skills. Use of proper grammar, content, and identified standards/format. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize work schedules, and complete tasks by desired due dates.
