We are looking to hire a Sr Maintenance Technician in Union City, GA to provide onsite technical support to our customer, a retail distribution center on a compressed overnight schedule.

SHIFT: Wednesday 12am - 6am, & Thursday through Saturday from 6pm - 6am 

\nKey Responsibilities \n\nAdjust, repair, and replace components like belts, cables, wheels, pulleys, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and AC/DC electrical motors, drives and other related equipment.\nMaintain and perform troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical conveyor systems, sorters, printer applicators, motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, VFD’s, motor starters, control panels, tachometers, encoders, etc. with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency using tools such as multi-meters, infrared thermometers, and a laptop.\nFollow appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals.\nUtilize handheld devices and asset management system mobile apps to create and close Work Orders with appropriate data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, and parts used).\nFollow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.\nBasic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices. Familiar with simple wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring.\nMechanical work with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and AC/DC electrical motors, drives and other related equipment.\n\n

Physical Demands (must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation): 

\n\nRegular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.\nWalking within and around the site with great frequency.\nAble to work at heights and ability to climb ladders safely and without limitations.\nFull manual dexterity in both hands and wrists, eye/hand coordination and feet motion.\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.\nFlexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.\nWilling to work overtime as required.\nYOU MUST HAVE \n\nHigh School Diploma, or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience with industrial mechanical, electrical, controls systems.\nValid Driver's license.\n\nWE VALUE \n\n2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems.\nDegree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.\n2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.\nUnderstand basic electrical and electronic schematics.\nAbility to troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions.\nBasic computer skills to navigate MS Office applications and work related systems. \n\n
