As a Sr. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior-level role and maintain a strong focus on managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical facilities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and sustainability of facilities while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

\nYou will report directly to our Sr. Field Service Manager and you’ll work out of our Woodstock, ON location.

\nIn this role, you will impact the overall success of the business by ensuring that our facilities are operating effectively and efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers. Your expertise in facilities management will not only enhance the productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall success of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\n\n\tEngage in the operation of facilities management.\n\tEnsuring timely completion and adherence to Facility Asset Preventive maintenance plans\n\tManage and overlook Maintain planning scheduling & planning of facility assets.\n\tOversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.\n\tDevelop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with our organization’s goals and objectives.\n\tCreate, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards.\n\tManage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organization’s assets are well-maintained.\n\tEnsure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits, and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards.\n\tCollaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels.\n\tImplement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.\n\tConduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards.\n\tDevelop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other crises.\n\tCollaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives.\n\tStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices.\n\tLead, guide, and develop talent within the team to foster professional growth and enhance overall organizational capability\n\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\n\tMinimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance\n\tMinimum of 5+ years of proven leadership and management skills\n\tPost-secondary education in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field\n\tImmunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act\n\n\n

\n\n\n\tBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field\n\tExperience in facilities management in a healthcare environment\n\tStrong leadership and decision-making skills\n\tAbility to work effectively in a team environment\n\tExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\n\tAttention to detail and strong organizational skills\n\tExperience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives\n\tStrong knowledge of building systems and equipment\n\tStrong understanding of latent issues and effective risk management practices\n\tAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects\n\tExperience with budget management\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\tExperience working in a unionized environment\n\tExperience in P3 contracts\n\tUnderstanding of legislative requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Marshal, Ministry of Labor, Ontario Accessibility Act)\n\n\n
