In this PAS LOB Excellence function, main responsibility will be to interface with PAS LOB, understand the needs related to P&E and drive P&E improved performance to meet those needs. This function will collaborate with the other LOB Excellence leads for LSS, PAS, Cyber, HCI, CCC and PMC, will interact with the P&E Excellence tools team to dictate changes needed to maintain estimating rules and will support Pole support team on LOB queries. It will understand and manage the PAS proposal needs and process and work closely with the HPS Proposal Librarian. It will demonstrate achievement of business metric improvements with the LOBs through the P&E process. It will maintain P&E alignment with the PAS New Product Introduction process and ensure that P&E is ready to support all PAS NPI, including estimating tools requirements and internal P&E training, prior to each new product launch.
Periodic reporting to senior leadership on program status. Medium- and Long-term plans for supporting PAS proposals templates in line with latest Industry trends and HPS Vertical teams. Close support across all of the P&E estimating groups on LOB specific tools and business practices.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure PAS LOB requirements from P&E are met
· Interface to Sales to ensure Sales requirements from P&E are met
· Interface with the Excellence Tools team to make sure the tools roadmap meets LOB requirements
· Interface with the LOB to prepare all the information needed to create/enhance estimating tools.
· Ensure automated tools and proposal improvement training is rolled out globally to P&E
· Identify the functional areas where new proposal template tools can be deployed or existing tools improved
· Manage the ongoing updates of PAS proposal templates
· Identify improvement areas specific to PAS estimating and proposal requirements
