Mentor, educate, and train support personnel on how to use tools. • Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of critical applications. • Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes to prevent future incidents. • Understanding of best practices for AWS, EC2, Kubernetes and monitoring of containers. Manages capacity planning, updates, upgrades, and internal integration • Experience with site monitoring and log monitoring tools, specifically Datadog/Dynatrace. • Define and track SLOs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service reliability and performance • Coordinates with DevOps, Problem Management, etc escalations to support monitoring • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. • Continuously improve processes and practices to enhance system reliability and team efficiency • Mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality • Demonstrate an innovative mentality by staying aware of new developments within the technology space and present solutions using modern technologies to adapt to provide value to business • Work effectively with onshore and business teams • Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner • Participate in design meetings and determine technical requirements • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, speaks and writes clearly • Strong understanding of systems, networks and troubleshooting techniques. • Experience in automated pipeline build, and continuous integration.
