As a Sr Endpoint Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Essential Responsibilities
Strong knowledge of the innerworkings of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) Suite of products.Defender Antivirus (AV)Defender Endpoint detection and response (EDR)Defender Data Loss Prevention (DLP)Establish a client health baseline for MDE on Workstations and ServersMonitor and report agent health state across enterprise, to ensure health compliance met the target set.Strong knowledge on client health for the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Client (MECM)Establish a client health baseline for MECM on Workstations and ServersAssess workstations performance issue and determine if it is caused by MDAV or MDEAssess and suggest MDAV exclusions required for specific case.Work with EDR team for exclusions related to MDE.Work with multiple business and Cybersecurity teams on specific needsLeverage reports, logs, scripts, and Microsoft provided tools such as Procmon, MDEClientAnalyzer, Performance Recorder/Analyzer. Should be able to analyze output/logs produced by these tools.Act as a first line in responding to MDAV, MDE, MECM Solv incidents/requests.Identify common issues across SOLV incidents/requests and discuss with Subject Matter Experts to improve existing resolution.Work closely with Subject Matter Experts on complex issues (MDAV, MDE, MECM)Keep track of latest announcement/news from Microsoft pertaining to MDAV and MDE productsParticipate in root cause analysis for incidents when required.Fuel your passion
