The Embedded Software Developer will perform software engineering tasks including requirements development, design, code, testing, verification and integration of embedded real-time software for the i6T.

Responsibilities Carry out full life-cycle software development for safety-critical systems: plan, develop, document, test, and certify embedded software.Work with other disciplines, including systems and hardware engineering.Participate in development of new control and communication algorithms for the charging and monitoring of lithium Ion batteriesInitiate or revise specifications, deviations, drawings and proposals as needed in the course of problem resolution.Develop and execute test plans to fulfill requests for product and application information.Recommend and assist in the development and testing of new products to support lithium customer applications.Participate in the new product development team to specify model/simulate/test and verify.Work with the HW team to develop system architecture and to support system bring-up.Prepare technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, technical specifications).Report frequently on progress against key project deliverables.Work independently with general direction from team leads.Develop new test plans and test strategies.Develop end-to-end automated tests.Add automation coverage for new hardware and peripherals as neededAnalyze test results and troubleshoot measurement issues. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering5+ years relevant work experience.Must be eligible to work in US either as a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentDemonstrated C embedded programming skills.Demonstrated Python programming skills.Experience in real-time embedded software development life-cycle processes.Proficiency in English (written and oral).Desirable- experience with:
