Sr Electrical Engineer, P.E

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in power plant design within the oil & gas sector, specializing in high voltage systems from generator to substation.

Job Requirements:

Approximately 10 years of engineering experience in the oil & gas industry (Midstream/Upstream)

Proven expertise in power plant layout and high voltage bus bar installations

Proficient in relay coordination and arc flash studies

Capable of designing entire electrical systems from generator power poles to substation feeders

Proficient in ETAP software

Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

Experience with power system modeling, protection, and coordination

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance for high voltage installations

Prior work with upstream and midstream energy projects

Ability to lead and manage large-scale electrical design projects

Job Responsibilities:

Develop power cable schedules and one-line diagrams

Design cable tray systems, duct banks, and grounding systems

Create lighting plans, motor schematics, and control panel layouts

Specify and design UPS systems, MCCs, transformers, and junction boxes

Conduct arc-flash studies and relay coordination using ETAP

Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables

Oversee quality and compliance of electrical design from concept to implementation



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
