Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Create or update schematic and PCB library symbols using Siemens Xpedition Library Manager.
• Manage the necessary part parametric data in Siemens Xpedition EDM database and Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Modify component symbols via engineering requests or ECO changes.
• Assist engineering in process flow development or improvements.


A day in the life
As an SR ECAD Librarian, you will participate in the definition and creation of component electrical symbols, PCB component footprints, and 3D mechanical models. You will contribute in all phases of the product development process, including activities that involve creating new part definitions, maintenance of existing libraries, and resolution of problem issues that arise. You will juggle various priorities simultaneously without losing sight of the customer and project schedules. You must bring a combination of industry knowledge, strong cross-functional team experience, and a strong understanding of the complete process of creating and using PCB component library objects.
