The Senior Director of Pricing and Administration plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the integrated Global Supply Chain team located in U.S. Mexico, Spain, U.K. and Singapore. This position is tasked with delivering comprehensive financial and pricing analyses that inform and guide sourcing and business decisions across various domains, including print services, paper procurement, logistics, product distribution, and the management of distribution center supplies and equipment. This is a hybrid position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This role requires 10% occasional travel to our Columbus, OH or New York offices, so candidates must be within commuting distance of either of these locations. What you will be doing: Closely monitor pricing trends throughout the global supply chain, developing strategic product placement strategies, and providing actionable insights on the potential impacts of anticipated supply chain price fluctuations. This analysis is crucial for optimizing cost-effectiveness and enhancing competitive positioning in the market. Oversee $200M of spend annually. Manage contract management processes for the global supply chain organization. This includes overseeing the negotiation, execution, and amendment of supplier agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Lead initiatives to implement and ensure compliance with internal controls across the supply chain. This oversight is essential for maintaining operational integrity and mitigating risks associated with supply chain activities. Work with a highly experienced team as we continue to refine our supply chain strategy, optimize the supply chain footprint, leverage integrated planning, and manage operations to ensure that our integrated supply chain remains a strategic asset. Navigate the complexities of our global supply chain landscape and achieve sustainable growth. Direct Pricing Studies: Lead the preparation of comprehensive pricing studies that support sourcing and strategic business decisions throughout the supply chain. This involves developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to be distributed to suppliers, conducting thorough competitive bid analyses, negotiating pricing details, and effectively presenting the results of these pricing studies to management. Your insights will guide informed decision-making and foster strategic partnerships. Contract Management Oversight: Oversee the entire contract management process for the global supply chain, ensuring the execution of new supplier agreements and the amendment of existing supplier terms. Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and supplier representatives to ensure that all agreements accurately reflect previously negotiated terms while safeguarding the operational integrity of the supply chain. Executive Reporting: Develop and compile detailed reports for executive management and business units that cover essential metrics such as supplier spending, actual and anticipated price changes, pricing guidance for budgeting, cost savings initiatives, and tracking of contractual commitments to suppliers. These reports will provide valuable insights into financial performance and strategic alignment. Sourcing and Procurement Management: Manage the sourcing process for supplies and equipment required by U.S. distribution centers, including the execution of contracts and purchase orders. Your leadership in this area will ensure that procurement activities are aligned with operational needs, budget goals and the Company’s Procurement policies. Supplier Pricing Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of supplier pricing within the manufacturing purchase order system (MSS). Regular audits and updates will be necessary to maintain pricing consistency and avoid discrepancies that could impact budgeting and forecasting. Internal Control Compliance: Oversee the implementation of internal controls across the supply chain to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. This will involve monitoring processes and conducting regular reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks. Budget Development Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the Financial Planning team to develop and refine departmental budgets for the Global Supply Chain. Your expertise will contribute to realistic financial planning that supports operational objectives and strategic initiatives. Educational Material Donations and Reporting: Manage the donation of educational materials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accurate tax reporting. We are looking for someone with… 10 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting. 10 years of experience managing multiple employees. 10 years of experience in Print or Publishing preferred. Solution-driven customer service mindset with the ability to multi-task and work agilely within tight deadlines. Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving ability. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in teams. Strong analytic skills are required. The pay range for this position is between $162,500-$250,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
