The Senior Director Analytics is responsible for the development and execution of analytical strategies which have significant impact on the enterprise. The position leads a team of skilled analysts with responsibility for researching, designing, developing and managing new analytic products and new data sources for Prime and its customers.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targetsCommunicate data findings, outcomes and strategies to cross-functional teams, Prime’s Executive Leaders Team (ELT), Prime’s clients and/or applicable network pharmaciesOversee analytics teams to ensure solution aligns with end state goals/objectives and operational processesDevelop standardization of new best practice processes, procedures, and templatesDrive transformation and process standardization, execution, and improvement for all analytic work productsCreate cost/benefit, return on investment (ROI) analysis, product benchmarks and other financial reports and models to support the business, while offering critical evaluation on both strategic and financial impacts to PrimeProvide comprehensive and relevant program level analysis and reporting to Prime management through the oversight and leadership of the applicable functional areaLeverage extensive pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and Healthcare industry expertise to provide senior level strategic analytical consultative services to a variety of audiences (clients, technical teams, project team members, executives, pharmacies, etc.)Assist in the identification of analytic project tasks and scope (resources, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies) in partnership with internal and external clients and ensure alignment to strategic and department level initiativesOversee and manage analytical vendors for owned products, if applicableOther duties as assigned

Minimum  Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required10 years of combined work experience in project management, quality improvement and/or business analysis, to include experience in managed care or the pharmacy benefit management industry7 years of leadership/people management experienceMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

Strong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listeningIn depth knowledge of pharmacy performance analytics, waste analytics, Specialty Pharmacy and Medical BenefitsAbility to identify and implement consultative services opportunitiesAbility to manage multiple, complex project simultaneously without compromising quality ​     

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Math or related fieldExperience in software product management such as SaaS or PaaS engagement modelExperience in Pragmatic Marketing FrameworkExperience using multiple commercially available analytic tools and technologiesExperience with the design and development of new analytic products (full lifecycle experience from concept ideation to deployment)Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) tools and deployment into analytics productsExperience with national quality metrics (e.g., PQA, HEDIS)Experience with Medicare stars ratings, metrics and performance measurement ​

Reporting Structure

Reports to Assistance Vice President or Vice Presidents in the Analytics, Pharmacy & Network Services, IT and Service Excellence departments

Potential pay for this position ranges from $164,000.00 - $279,000.00 based on experience and skills.
