We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr Director, Edge Platform & DevOps to lead and drive transformational initiatives in our Data Center and Edge infrastructure, DevOps, and developer experience. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of industry experience, with extensive hands-on expertise in managing RedHat OSV/CaaS infrastructure and migrating from VMware to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (OSV) and CAAS (Containers-as-a-Service) infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of modern development pipelines, CI/CD, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and related domains, with a strong background in manufacturing plant environments.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field  Extensive hands-on expertise in migration from VMware to Red Hat OSV and CAAS infrastructure.  Deep understanding of developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains.  Strong expertise in database technologies, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with experience in: Database migration and modernization from legacy systems to cloud-native environments.  High availability and disaster recovery strategies for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.  Performance tuning and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency.   Database security and compliance, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging.  Automation and orchestration of database deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.  Strong expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containers, and Cloud-Native architectures.   Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.).  Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.   Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  Ability to drive large-scale transformation projects in complex enterprise environments. 

Preferred Certifications: 

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or Kubernetes Administration  AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Certifications  Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)  ITIL, TOGAF, or other relevant certifications
