The opportunityThe role of the Senior Director Business Unit, Hospital Teva Spain delivers results by getting it done together in a compliant and ethical manner, will be responsible for leading and driving the business strategy for our Specialist, Hospitals and Tenders portfolio across Spain. This role requires a dynamic and strategic leader with a proven track record in strategic mindset, sales & marketing, business intelligence, growth initiatives and people management. This position possesses an understanding of organizational objectives and aligns resources appropriately to meet those objectives. While in pursuit of goal achievement, this person upholds the culture and values of Teva in all interactions and business matters.
How you’ll spend your day Manage P&L: Develop and manage strategic& tactical decisions to enhance profitability and drive business unit growth. Collaborate with key stakeholders, internal/external, to identify and leverage new business opportunities. Sales & Marketing : Lead the sales & marketing strategy and execution for the Specialist, Hospitals and Tenders portfolio, ensuring the achievement of sales & marketing targets and market share growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Innovative product launch experience is required. CNS and/or Psychiatry experience preferred. Lead high priority projects, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to make operational decisions and set strategic goals. Evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics to measure overall project and teams’ overall success. Identify and exploit the competitive advantages of the company's Hospital BU portfolio and develop brand positioning and communication narrative Marketing. Collaboration with the portfolio & medical team in evaluating business opportunities, launches, and monitoring the product lifecycle. Define the customer experience and digital areas in developing and implementing the customer interaction plan Execution of Brand awareness activities. Business Intelligence: Utilize business intelligence and market insights to make strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities for the Business Unit. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business performance. Growth Initiatives: Identify and implement growth initiatives to expand the whole Hospital Business Unit. Develop and execute strategies to launch new products and enhance existing offerings. Project Management: Oversee and manage Business key projects related to the Hospital Business Unit portfolio. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives aligned to Company goals. People Management: Develop and motivate sales & marketing teams in order to reach outstanding BU results through high levels of People Engagement. Your experience and qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience (min 15 years) in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Specialist/Hospitals. Proven track record in P&L, sales, marketing business intelligence, growth initiatives, pricing, project management. Experience in managing and leading large and diverse teams (with and without authority). Business experience within Spain is required Ability to build and effectively maintains strong, mutually beneficial networks/relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and possesses impactful and influential communication and presentation skills and keeps the goal in mind while moving the customer towards the solution. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
