Position Overview
CWTSatoTravel is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator
Summary: Provides contractual guidance, advice, and support to in-house management and Program managers, including interpreting terms and conditions, monitoring contract performance, and performing contract close-outs in accordance with applicable regulations.
Position Description
Implements procurement and contract management strategies, systems, procedures, and guidelines for internal and external clientsPrepares project agreements/contracts/sub-contractsSupports data calls, and maintains compliance with SOX requirements, and other agency audit requirements on an ongoing basisQualifies or pre-qualifies subcontractors to assurance capabilities in areas such as information security and/or personnel security, financial well-beingNegotiates key contract terms and conditionsMonitors contract performanceOversees day-to-day contract administration from the contract award, administration, and closeout. Negotiate contracts, task orders, and modifications. Reviews and/or provides guidance in the preparation of contracts, agreements, amendments, and change orders.Meets with company personnel involving any issue or interpretation of contract requirements. Researches contracts and regulations to develop appropriate solutions/responses as necessary.Requests modifications to the contract(s) from the Government as necessary and assures that required contract modifications are reviewed and action taken is appropriate.Incorporates, annotates, and updates contract(s) as modifications are received. Assures all contractual documents are filed and pending actions annotated and kept in working files.Assures correspondence is prepared to document any actions taken. Problem areas are concisely documented to provide a clear understanding of how decisions were reached and finalized, thus establishing an audit trail.Works effectively and harmoniously with customer agencies, the US Government, and CWGT staff.Verifies that all contractual clauses are included in documents (as appropriate).Manages /subcontractor/vendor/supplier performance in relation to contractual agreements.#LI-REMOTE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.A minimum of 3-5 years experience in U.S. Government procurement or U.S. Government contract administration.Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and general contracts law principles.Experience with various contract types (i.e., CPFF, FFP, TM, Cost-Reimbursement, Labor-Hour)Knowledge or experience with Federal Travel Regulation and/or Joint Travel Regulations desirable. Security clearance(s) may be required for U.S. citizens.CWT accepts Military experience/certifications as a substitute for some requirements.Travel: Generally, within the Washington DC area.
