Lead a team of Portfolio Managers to ensure growth and delivery with Biotech customers through governance, planning, and innovative initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior people management experience and bring extensive service industry expertise across the Pharma/Biotech/CDMO sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and oversight to CMC portfolio management team to secure, expand, and retain multi-division business for PSG across governance models.Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to coordinate, influence, and lead efforts to ensure seamless execution of services.Partners with leadership in other groups to align strategy and enable portfolio leads to work together to optimally deliver for our clients.Provide program and project management leadership standards and support team to achieve key functional activities including leading sub-team and working group meetings.Establish effective processes, methods, and tools to boost team efficiency and consistency.Mentors, trains, and coaches region leaders and staff assisting with resource prioritization, strategic proposals, operational and governance strategy, and negotiations.Uses executive enterprise relationships and knowledge of CMC portfolio offerings and ensures high-quality project delivery, client happiness, and an improved chance of repeat business.Ensure consistent customer experience worldwide by delivering specialized services on time.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in management/leadership and multi-disciplinary experience in the pharmaceuticals, biotech, CDMO, or Clinical research industry.Strategic problem solver with a consistent track record supporting a business through rapid growth and/or change.In-depth knowledge of biotechnology industry, concepts, and terminology.Ability to establish relationships with high-level business contacts and influence scientific/biotech leaders.Proven experience developing, coaching, mentoring, and leading teams.Extensive customer relationship management experience.Ability to lead and fully integrate across the matrix business structure and follow-up to expand relationships and business opportunities.Strong commercial competence with experience with all phases of drug development and technology transfer.Experience operational delivery intelligence with the ability to convert strategies into profitability & business growth.
