About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be a part of Gartner’s Digital Product team (Digital Products and Innovation), a fast-growing product organization. Our mission is to create effortless, customer-centric, habit-forming digital experiences that enable clients to solve their Mission Critical Priorities, by ensuring a cost-effective, scalable, and secured platform for all our products. We are looking for Sr Digital Product Manager who can partner with the engineering team to build and improve Gartner’s digital platforms and also work on a variety of business problems using the lean product framework.
What you will do:
Creating innovative products through a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, including frequently referring to best practices and latest techniques in product management around discovery and scaling
Lead brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving sessions with stakeholders across Gartner to understand business and customer needs and translate that into feature requirements and KPIs
Extensively relying on data driven insights to inform which feature to prioritize for development and to also size the opportunity landscape
Implement a “lean” approach to product development where you along with your design and engineering team would strive for early validation of learnings and continuously iterate to achieve the goals
Contribute to product roadmap by integrating inputs from multiple channels, including clients and client-facing associates interviews, market research and stakeholder requirements
Build consensus amongst product leaders, engineering, and business on prioritizing the product roadmap based on client and business value
Design innovative solutions for high potential needs which achieve the optimal balance between client value, time to market and development cost
Serve as product owner and lead a scrum team of engineers and designers
Additionally, participate with your scrum team in concept sprints to build a product roadmap, define MVP functionality and collect user feedback
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA (or equivalent) will be a plus
At least 6-8 years’ relevant work experience (including working as a digital product manager)
Background in areas of GRC or Cybersecurity related product development or experience with a GRC/TPRM/Cybersecurity product in the past is preferred
Ideally you have digital product management experience with enterprise software/product companies and a strong product mindset
Have exposure to or are curious about technology / SaaS providers across categories and different challenges associated with product development and marketing
Proficient in understanding the technical aspects of the product development process, including various stages of the SDLC
Experienced in working on product features from inception and ideation through to launch, as well as all stages of product evolution and maturity. Capable of effectively communicating with engineering teams about trade-offs and their implications on product development
Possess strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively communicate and coordinate across different areas of business. Are a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfil them proactively. Knowledge of product management methodologies/frameworks is a plus
