Thanks to our incredible team, Deltek has been named one of America's Best Midsize Employers by Forbes, a Best Place to Work by Glassdoor, a Top Workplace by The Washington Post and a Best Place to Work in Asia by World HRD Congress. www.deltek.comAuto req ID:9686BRExternal Job Title:Senior Accounting & Finance ConsultantPosition Responsibilities: + As a consultant, you will work on multiple projects including: configuring, testing, documenting, and implementing Costpoint ERP. + As a Sr Consultant, you will be instrumental in determining work priorities in accordance with project plans, project schedules, changing work demands and GovCon's policies & practices and escalating any issues as appropriate. + You may support a lead consultant or, at times, may be the lead consultant on Costpoint customer deployments. + Provide training, both internal and customer facing. + Update training materials, facilitate trainings and other events to help share implementation best practices and product knowledge with other consultants. + Provide the Deltek PM with status reports and keep them apprised of status of accounting and finance activities. + Apply analytical and technical thinking within areas of assigned responsibility. + Resolve routine client issues & challenges by identifying possible alternatives, as well as providing recommendations. + Assist the entire Deltek consulting team in ensuring client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution. + Take ownership of assigned issues and follows through on commitments. + Work collaboratively and build relationships with other consultants, management, customer staff, and third-party consultants, + Enjoys working with new and diverse clients and can quickly establish credibility by listening, troubleshooting, presenting solutions and delivering on commitments. + Assist with data mapping/loading procedures. Work Location:US RemoteQualifications: + Prior experience with Costpoint ERP required. + Minimum 5 years consulting experience or accounting experience + Experience with a government contractor is preferred + B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience or technical and/or product knowledge comparable to four-year degree in a related area. + Prior experience designing, configuring, testing, mapping and documenting the processes and workflows of ERP systems. + Experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Office products. + Knowledge of Cost Accounting, Project Accounting, FAR/CAS, Incurred Cost Submissions, government contracting. + Prior experience as ERP Consultant, Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager preferred. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
