The Contracts Development  Manager role will support the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) OEM Channel and be an integral participant in enhancing and driving deal development. Are you ready to engage with and champion cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class deal contracts with customers within this fast-growing market?

Responsibilities:

Evaluate incoming OEM business opportunities and help develop deal structures for partnerships with our clients, with particular focus on commercial use, licensing, scalable business needs, including  supply, quality, and regulatory terms.Progress legally binding agreement documents working in conjunction with contracts counsel and IP counsel for valid opportunities to provide the company’s GSD product portfolio, and/or services to customers manufacturing a variety of testing modalities for molecular diagnostics, animal health testing, food safety testing and environmental testing.Lead and influence the outcome of negotiations to build mutually beneficial business frameworks with strategic partners.  Coordinate and ensure maximum situation awareness with cross-functional teams (including legal, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory, product management, R&D, etc.) throughout the contract process and in a timely manner.Coordinate and maintain current Commercial Supply Agreements in the contract management system, and share contractual obligations with all internal partners (Legal, Quality, Regulatory, Project Managers, Commercial and Customer Service).Help develop streamlined processes for contract development.Verify (as requested) the alignment of price quotations, terms of sale, delivery terms, and price increases according to the guidelines of the supply agreement.Be an active participant in solving customer challenges.Keep a close eye on industry trends, market trends, emerging technology and competitor strategies to advance our agreement offerings. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or life science.5+ years of relevant business development experience, including identification & validation of strategic product supply opportunities in the life sciences field.Proven track record of relevant completed contracts (please submit Deal Sheet with application).Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree and/or MBA.Project management experience.Advanced knowledge of emerging therapeutic technologies and manufacturing processes in regulated markets.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $84,400.00–$126,550.00.
