Sr Category Specialist
A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Sr. Category Specialist, you will play a key role in integrating a state-of-the-art business optimization system to transform supply chain operations and generate substantial savings. You will lead the integration team and collaborate with various departments to manage materials and optimize product life cycles. You Will Make an Impact By: + Lead the integration team for Supplyframe + Devise the Supplyframe training roll out for supply chain employees and engineering. + Collaborate directly with MKS Engineering, other Category Specialists, Procurement and NPI teams to proactively incorporate Supplyframe in the MKS culture. + Ensure Supplyframe capabilities are actively used to drive $Ms in component cost savings. + Transform the methods bills of material are managed and shared between various functions throughout the company. + Create processes and methods to optimize managing the electronics supply chain. Skills You Bring: + A bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain (a master’s degree is preferred) + Experience developing supplier and supply chain strategies. + Proven communication skills to engage with c-suite supplier management. + Ability to collaborate with global and cross functional teams with a proven track record of taking ownership of issues and projects. + Expertise in Oracle and/or SAP procurement and planning modules. + Knowledge of or ability to learn details of the semiconductor industry. + Experience in managing PCBA contract manufacturers and component suppliers. #LI-ST1 Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
