Sr Business Innovation Leader, GS Deal Strategy and Innovation

GS is seeking a GS Deal Strategy and Innovation leader to drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy across all phases of the customer cloud journey and unlock high-growth and scalable opportunities for both AWS and our customers.

This individual will be responsible for scoping and delivering complex end-to-end solutions to accelerate GTM. The ability to dismantle large and complex projects into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them in a timely manner are essential to success in this role. This individual must also have a foundational understanding of cloud services GTM, customer cloud adoption stages, and AWS solutions that support cloud adoption.

Responsibilities include collecting and influencing business requirements from customers, designing, communicating, and clarifying solution specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing solution launch and deployment. As a Sr. Business Innovation Lead, you will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts across internal and external teams and partners to develop optimal GTM solutions. You will proactively identify bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and anticipate and negotiate trade-offs that strike the right balance between solving business needs and technical, capacity, and process constraints.


Key job responsibilities
- Manage the cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term programs and initiatives to address organizational challenges.
- Coordinate solution development and deployment while driving continuous improvement and data-driven innovation through a big-picture analysis of the GTM flywheel, dependencies, and processes.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, product management, and technical teams to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks, overcoming challenges to launch solutions.
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements.
- Provide escalation management and make tradeoffs to ensure successful delivery of agreed-upon milestones.
- Maintain existing reporting for area of responsibility and develop, own, and communicate program goals, performance, efficacy, and efficiency to stakeholders with varying technical expertise.
- Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, seeing them through from start to finish.

The Global Services Deals Engine team is a unified, cross-functional organization that drives a simplified, integrated, and structured approach from deal qualification, through negotiation and deal execution for GS customers requiring specialized deal commercials to win the business. GSDE expertise across Commercial and Public Sector Professional Services (ProServe), Training and Certification (T&C), Support, Partners, Security, and AWS Managed Services (AMS) drives sustained and incremental value through specialized customer investments, whether they are leveraging single or multiple cross-GS offerings.
