Developing technical guides that include WebFOCUS 9 standards / guidelines, best practices, tips and tricks, and other helpful diagrams and charts.Conducting quarterly user group meetings to demonstrate technical topics and engage with users thru questions and answers sessions.Leading user/ a group of users in working sessions aimed at providing insight on new features of upcoming upgrades for WebFOCUS 9 Designer.Serve as a liaison between users, WebFOCUS administrators and the technical team members.Facilitate User Acceptance Testing of new features for WebFOCUS 9 upgrades.Assisting users with solutions on WebFOCUS topics and/or providing training on certain functionalities. Also, providing assistance to create and/or modify data visualization dashboards.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience4+ years of demonstrated design and development skills using WebFOCUS 9.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills)

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

4+ years of hands-on experience using WebFOCUS 8.2.01 and above and, hands on experience with WebFOCUS 9.0 and above.Clear and precise written and oral communication skills.4+ years of hands-on experience developing elaborate presentations to a wide audience.Successful experience in developing technical training materials for user guides.Ability to lead and present technical training in front of a wide audience composed of users, business leaders, and technical experts.Some hands-on experience and familiarity with other BI/ data technologies such as Business Objects, Oracle, MicroStrategy, Power BI, SAS, R, Python, Excel, etc.Comfortable working in enterprise support services.Resourcefulness and a self-starter.

HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:

Hands-on experience designing and developing visualization solutions in other BI Tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.Familiarity with DB2, Oracle, Greenplum databases and Enterprise Data Warehouses.Federal Government experience.
