The Sr Associate Project Manager, Medical Collaborations will play a key role in providing operational and project management leadership within the Medical Collaborations team. This role is essential for maintaining strategic alignment across projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, and tracking priorities as they arise. The (Sr.) Manager will be responsible for anticipating team needs, addressing potential challenges, and helping streamline cross-functional collaboration. The (Sr.) Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve existing processes by integrating AI and other emerging technologies, proactively addressing challenges, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Medical Collaborations initiatives, projects, and processes to enhance team efficiency, streamline workflows, and strengthen departmental infrastructure, with a focus on implementing advanced technological solutions. Drive process improvements by exploring and integrating AI and other technological advancements to support project tracking, risk management, and reporting, maximizing overall operational efficiency. Plan and facilitate meetings to track project progress, ensure milestones are met, and provide regular updates on project status. Develop risk mitigation strategies, identify potential risks, delays, and other issues, and create contingency plans. Support content creation, including emails, PowerPoint presentations, and documentation to facilitate project communication and ensure alignment. Oversee contract management and budget tracking in collaboration with finance and operations for Medical Collaborations activities. Support Medical Collaborations congress activities and execution. Organize and support committee meetings (virtual or in-person), handling logistics, agenda development, and meeting summaries. Assist in developing tools and initiatives to optimize team workflows and enhance productivity. Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing new ideas to the table and initiating projects aligned with the strategic goals of the Medical Collaborations team. Maintain a strong understanding of clinical and scientific developments in ophthalmology to support informed decision-making. Undertake special projects as needed, driving the execution to meet desired outcomes and ensuring the integration of efficient, technology-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries or Healthcare Consulting. MBA or degree in Finance preferred. Experience in Medical affairs/Collaborations is an asset. Exceptional organizational skills with strong project management and prioritization capabilities. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying flexibility and adaptability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), online document management systems (e.g., SharePoint), and MS Teams. Experience utilizing Gantt charts to plan, track, and manage project timelines, ensuring clear visibility of project progress, dependencies, and deadlines across multiple workstreams. Demonstrated track record of problem-solving and a results-oriented mindset. Experience working in dynamic or "start-up" environments with a proactive, self-directed approach.
