EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Assembler in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our office in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities:

Follow work instructions to assemble electronic components, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring, and connectors using hand tools and automated machinery.Visually inspect assembled equipment to ensure quality and functionality.Ability to test and record completed tasks to maintain records.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Basic Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent

Essential Qualifications:

Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.Fine motor skills for handling small components.

Preferred Qualification:

Technical training or certification in electronics is a plusPrevious experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing is preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.Proficiency with hand tools and automated assembly equipment.Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.Knowledge of computers and assembly process.Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
