Sr Analyst - Ops

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate internal and external communication and change processes, act as the primary point of contact.

- Work with functional area directors/managers and subject matter experts to define specific change requirements.

- Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements.

- Increase effectiveness of project documentation such as reports and client communication.

- Obtain status updates and resolve questions from operational areas.

- Draft clear and comprehensive business process documentation to support operational activities.

- Analyze and provide recommendations for internal process improvements.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

- Able to self-manage aggressive workload, identify and remediate obstacles, engage best practices to expedite product. - Serve as Customer Communications point of contact on all assigned work keeping management and business partners apprised of communication status - Completes deliverables for reporting maintenance including revisions, approvals, and implementation. - Utilize reporting and analysis to manage and prioritize a portfolio of claims processes to drive efficiency and productivity. - Perform on-going analysis of claims processes to validate business need and make appropriate adjustments to existing processes as needed. - Analyze information and develop solutions with the overall goal of improving business processes, efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience. - Assist with the review and verification to ensure expected output was achieved. - Communicate findings and work with management to address opportunities. - Maintain regular reporting documentation to be shared with the business area. - Schedule meetings, track issues, complete project plans, publish documentation and ensure implementation of claims processing is on schedule according to customer SLA/metrics. - Actively participate in meetings by coming prepared, providing insight, sharing ideas and accepting critical feedback. - Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements Per Client: - Must reside in the U.S.- Must be a U.S. citizen. - Must be able to pass a criminal background check. - Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.

- 1-3 years’ experience working in the financial service / claims processing demonstrating leadership skills required - Minimum 1 year of student loan experience or equivalent year of experience in a Project Coordinator / Communications role required - Experience leading projects and interacting with all levels of management required. - Strong working knowledge of Excel on other Microsoft Office products. - Ability to work independently - Self-motivated and goal oriented - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment EEO Statement Active military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce.
